Well to be fair, he was apparently heard oversaying that on the phone to Allardyce.
The bloke had a 2.5 year contract on the table which would have given him 5 million into retirement as his last big payday.
Given his failure to find a decent club last time around followed by his reprieve with us I'm not surprised he's pissed off to have missed out on that.
It becomes a lottery for him again in the summer when we will clearly not renew him.

Why couldn't we have terminated old silly bollock's contract with his agreement? He would then have been free to sign for the Stoke Chav.
As you can tell, I'm still fucking annoyed I still have to watch him limping up and down the touch line, milking the applause to THAT fucking song!
